Spiroscout Inhaler Tracker

At the center of Asthmapolis is the Spiroscout, a device that uses GPS to determine the time and location when an inhaler is used, and then stores or sends that information to a remote server.

It’s small and lightweight, easy to mount securely on the end of most inhalers, and simple to transfer to a new canister. Lights on the device let you know when it has detected use, and also show remaining battery level.

The Spiroscout lasts 2+ days between charges depending on how often its used, and recharges quickly anywhere with a wall charger or USB power source. You connect it to USB port on PC to download information from device and transfer to the Asthmapolis website.

Asthmapolis mobile diary and website

With the Asthmapolis mobile diary, you can map and track asthma symptoms, triggers, and your use of rescue and controller medications, and other important events from any phone with a web browser. You can choose to receive text message reminders when you forget to use controller medication, and review streamlined versions of your asthma map and charts on the phone.

The Asthmapolis website uses maps, charts and tables to summarize and reveal your patterns of use and trends over time, and to help you identify locations that cause asthma to worsen. You can also add and edit information about your asthma, and explore asthma in your community and around you.

Zeo

The Zeo is a device that monitors and analyzes sleep patterns with a headband that the user wears at night. Each morning, users receive a “ZQ” score for that night’s sleep. Sleep is can be visualized with graphs and users can see what keeps them from getting the best sleep possible. Zeo gives you tailed recommendations for better rest so you can be your best.

iPregnancy

iPregnancy is a mobile application that lets new mom’s to be track the progress of their pregnancy. You can track due date, gestational stage, your mood, and a progress bar to the safe “delivery zone”. iPregnancy also includes a digital diary where you can update information from OB visits (including your weight, blood pressure and fetal heart rate) and journal about your pregnancy.

Diet Science Pro

Diet Science Pro helps users understand food, allowing them to make better decision and lead a healthier lifestyle. The Diet Science Pro app include the USDA Food Pyramid, calculators for daily caloric requirements, glycemic index and BMI calculator. Users can learn about multiple diets including the Asian, Mediterranean and vegetarian (some with sample menus).

Moody Me

With Moody Me you can track your daily mood to discover what makes you happy. Keep a diary and track what put you in that mood by taking pictures of things that put you in a good mood, or recording symptoms, treatment and events. Users can see their mood diary in a calendar form to get an average rating for each day, or they can see a 90 day graph to get a big-picture idea of their moods. Users may also print out their mood chart to share with a physician.

FitBit

The Fitbit tracks your calories burned, steps taken, distance traveled and sleep quality. The Fitbit device contains a motion sensor that tracks your motion in three dimensions. THe FitBit can even be worn at night to track sleeping habits and patterns. Users can go to the FitBit website to track their caloric intake from an inventory of over 500,000 foods.

The device comes with a wireless station that automatically downloads information from the FitBit when the device is nearby. Users can then access the detailed information on FitBit’s website.

Trixie Tracker

Trixie Tracker is a web and mobile application that help parents understand their baby’s sleep patterns and daily schedules. Trixie Tracker creates tracking charts for sleep schedules, diaper changes, bottle and breastfeeding, pumping and medicine and lets parents compare against the charts of other users. The application can track up to three children and can print out reports to bring into the doctor’s office.
